PBI-Dansensor forms sales partnership with Sartorius

Ringsted | Goettingen, 26 March 2012 – PBI-Dansensor, the technological leader in the field of MAP technology, has formed a strategic partnership with one of the world's leading laboratory and process technology service providers, Sartorius. PBI-Dansensor provides quality assurance and quality control solutions and is a world-renowned supplier to the food industry. The agreement provides for the Sartorius Industrial Weighing division to market PBI-Dansensor products, which are used for testing gas-flushed packages, as part of its statistical process control (SPC) software solution.

The initial aim of this partnership is to distribute products in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, and this objective will be expanded upon in the future. Furthermore, Sartorius wants to be able to provide its customers from the food industry with even more comprehensive packaging technology solutions from one source. PBI-Dansensor products such as the "MAP Check 3" gas analyzer or "MAP Mix Provectus" gas mixer can be easily incorporated into the production lines. They can be easily connected to the Sartorius SPC software solution, making them the best-possible addition to the Sartorius product portfolio for the fields of checkweighers, metal detectors, and X-ray inspection systems.

Interested parties can find out more about the products and solutions at the Sartorius and PBI-Dansensor stands at the Anuga FoodTec trade fair in Cologne, Germany, 27–30 March 2012.
